Check in / check out :
For any arrival on Sunday or public holiday, a supplement of 50€ will be payable on the spot.
For any check out on Sunday or public holiday, a supplement of 30€ will be payable on site.
Please also note that late arrivals will also be charged: 30€ for arrivals between 7pm and 11pm, 50€ for arrivals after 11pm.
Interventions :
For any necessary intervention in the apartment it is expressly requested to contact directly and exclusively Internationalhome in charge of the management of the apartment, which will send one of its partners, who practice negotiated rates, to solve the problem.
Determination of responsibility for the problem: the craftsman/technician will check whether the cause of the problem is related to the apartment as such or to the use made of it by the tenant, and therefore to whom the invoice will be addressed, owner or tenant.
Please note: tenants must not under any circumstances search for a craftsman/technician by their own means. Scams or exaggerated rates being very common, we are not responsible for the amounts invoiced in this case, which will then be entirely at the expense of the tenants.
Intervention by Internationalhome craftsman/technician:
- the intervention will be considered as not paying as soon as the problem is recognised as a structural/installation problem;
- in the event that the intervention reveals a misuse, negligence or fault on the part of the tenant that has caused the problem, the invoice will be made to the tenant.
As a reminder, craftsmen/technicians do not have the same availability on Saturdays or outside working hours. Sunday is also a holiday for them.
There can be no instant intervention because we do not have a technician in house but we will do our best to find a solution as soon as possible, among our various partners.
Regular maintenance and cleaning :
The tenant is asked to take care of the apartment as if it were his own. Regular maintenance / cleaning must be carried out. As light bulbs are considered as consumables it is the responsibility of the tenant to change them if necessary.
At the end of the contract, an exit cleaning is contractually charged to the tenant. The tenant must leave the apartment in order, dishes washed and tidied up, vacuum cleaner emptied, furniture in the same layout as at the time of check-in.
On departure from the apartment the linen must not be washed or damp. The cleaning company will take the dirty linen and put clean linen in its place.
In the event of a departure condition requiring a more important cleaning than the lump sum stipulated in the contract, a supplementary cleaning reimbursement will be required, with supporting evidence.
Keys :
In the event of loss of the keys they will be invoiced to the tenant. Any loss must be reported to us, as the security of the apartment is at stake.
Replacement keys will be reproduced at our locksmith partner, who can also redo the badges, with negotiated rates.
In case the keys are forgotten: if a set is available at the office, the tenant will be able to come and collect them during the office working hours, between 10:30 and 18:30, Monday to Friday, and will have to bring them back once he has opened the door and collected his own keys.
If the keys are not available at the office and a "slammed door forcing" opening has to be done by us (only in the case of a slammed door) an amount of 35€ will be charged. Outside office hours, this amount will be increased by 50%. If the opening is not possible by our own care (to avoid the expenses of a professional locksmith to the tenant) because all the doors being particular, a professional locksmith partner will be called in a second time. The costs for the intervention of the Internationalhome agent will nevertheless be due for the time spent and the search for a locksmith.
In the case of the intervention of a locksmith partner the invoicing will be made at a later stage.
Please note: as for technical interventions the tenant must call upon Internationalhome directly and exclusively. Should the tenant decide to use a locksmith other than the one appointed by Internationalhome, the tenant will pay the full cost of the work on the spot and will not ask Internationalhome for any reimbursement under any circumstances. Under no circumstances will the locks be drilled or changed without the express agreement of Internationalhome.
Furniture / decoration :
The apartment is rented furnished. The selection of furniture and decoration are those of the owner. The tenant uses the apartment for a specific period of time and therefore cannot change them. The furniture must be left in place, as it was when the tenant took possession of the premises at check-in.
Co-ownership / Neighbourhood :
The tenant occupies a dwelling for a limited period of time. He must nevertheless make sure to respect the condominium rules and the rules of good neighbourliness. In particular, it is forbidden to store anything on the landing (furniture, shoes, rubbish bins, etc...), to make noise outside the hours to be respected according to the regulations of the Paris City Hall, to be reasonable when moving around in his accommodation by avoiding heeled shoes, moving furniture on the ground as well as TV or music noises that would be exaggerated. A party where the tenant receives people for dinner or a birthday must be posted in advance in the lobby for the attention of other occupants of the accommodation. The tenant should be aware that the use of the police during nightly disturbances (after 22:30) is common in Paris on the part of neighbours.
Internet use / downloads :
The tenant agrees to use the basic package as offered when entering the premises. Under no circumstances may he subscribe to additional subscriptions or use VOD channels. Any failure to comply with this will result in direct billing to the tenant of the amounts of subscriptions, downloads, and costs involved with the internet operator.
The lessee may under no circumstances carry out illegal downloads from the internet line offered to him. Hadopi strictly regulates the illegal use of the internet. In case we receive a letter from Hadopi concerning illegal use, the internet connection will be removed from the renter.
