Welcome to the Maison Gratte-Ciel, a beautifully renovated 1930s building, located in the heart of Villeurbanne with a lovely private garden.
The Villeurbanne studio is on the ground floor of the house and has a large and bright living room, mezzanine bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Gratte-Ciel metro access 4 minutes away on foot
Access Campus de la Doua - Pixel-Insa audiovisual centre in 15 minutes on foot or by bus 10 min ( C26)
Access to Part Dieu station in 20 minutes by metro

Inaugurated in June 1934, the Gratte-Ciel de Villeurbanne is 80 years old. A social and architectural work, this group of buildings with a rather modern outlook for the time, has become the emblem of the town.

The Maison Gratte Ciel is located in the heart of the lively Villeurbanne district and has a very beautiful private garden of 60 m2, quiet and planted with trees. You will be able to park your bikes on the rack provided for this purpose (please bring your padlock).
The Gratte-Ciel metro station is a 4-minute walk from the hotel, which takes you to the Lyon peninsula, including the famous Place Bellecour in just 10 minutes, as well as the chic district of the 6th arrondissement and La Part Dieu (train station and shopping centre) - Les Halles Paul Bocuse-Auditorium de Lyon.
Small shops within walking distance: bakery Pâtisserie Jacquier, Ninkasi Gratte-Ciel, Carrefour

Activities: the Piscine Boulloche, the Théâtre National Populaire, Maison du livre de l'image et du son, studio 24, the Astroballe (ASVEL) or the former Bayard or Bally factories.

Villeurbanne offers all the advantages of the big city in a greener and quieter environment. By metro, tram or bus, you will have quick access to all Lyon's neighbourhoods thanks to the many existing public transport services.

The studio is located on the 1st floor of the house.

LINEN AND BASIC PRODUCTS
You will find linen and basic items in the flat on arrival.

Concerning the linen :

- the bed will be prepared
- 1 shower towel per person and per stay (if you want more, remember to bring your own)
- 1 kitchen towel, 1 bathroom floor mat

Concerning commodities :

- 3 rolls of toilet paper
- 1 shower gel
- 1 washing-up liquid & 1 sponge
- Nespresso capsules and tea bags offered for your arrival
- some cleaning products

You will find at the entrance of the House :

-a display with brochures and maps of the metro and the City;
-a black box "POST" that will serve as a "suggestion box" to tell us about your experience at the Maison Gratte-Ciel.

Access
The entire studio as well as the garden shared with the other tenants of the House.
There are 8 flats in the house, each with its own private entrance and locked.
If you are in a group, do not hesitate to contact us to reserve several flats.

INFORMATION ON THE HOUSE RULES

Common areas and all dwellings are NON-SMOKING.
An ashtray is at your disposal in the garden.
-No parties or noise after 9pm are not allowed.
-Animals not allowed
- A service provider in charge of building maintenance will be present every day and will make sure that the premises are quiet.

INFORMATION CONCERNING THE KEYS TO THE ACCOMMODATION
-Only one set is given for each stay

INFORMATION ABOUT THE GARDEN

-The garden is a private area of the House, and is shared between the tenants occupying the 8 dwellings. It is no longer accessible after 9pm in order to preserve the peace and quiet of the place and not disturb the neighbourhood.
It is forbidden to install tables and chairs.

-Bicycle rack :
You have to put your own padlock;
The establishment cannot be held responsible in case of theft or damage.

-An ashtray is available, please extinguish your cigarette butts inside and do not throw them in the garden.
The common areas and all the dwellings are NON-SMOKING.

-Rubbish and sorting bins are available. Please dispose of your bins before you leave. Please respect the cleanliness of the garden.
