Located in a "protected" area, the apartment is also close to all the other districts of the historic centre (Saint-Pierre, Sainte-Colombe, Saint-Michel and Sainte-Croix). The Sainte-Croix church (700 m away), a former Benedictine abbey church, displays on its façade a magnificent programme of sculptures of the Saintongeais type.
