The neighbourhood is both lively and very quiet. You will find all the shops you need at the foot of the building (supermarket and organic supermarket, bakeries, butchers, beauty salons, market several times a week...).
Close to the house you will find excellent shops (cheese shops, wine shops, butchers, bakers) but also Picard, organic supermarkets and big brand supermarkets.
The covered market is open on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
The organic market is held on Friday afternoon.
In terms of culture, there is a concert hall (mainly jazz), a small theatre/cinema and a UGC cinema as well as two good bookshops.
