We are offering to rent our spacious and pleasant family home in La Tronche, in a quiet location surrounded by greenery, for a period of approximately 5/6 weeks: from mid-November 2025 to Christmas 2025.
Ideal location
- Close to Grenoble city centre and train station (accessible by public transport, 15 minutes by car or 15 minutes by car)
- Close to major companies and laboratories in the Grésivaudan / Inovallée valley (10 minutes by car from Meylan, 20 minutes by car from Crolles).
- Close to Grenoble's scientific peninsula (CEA, CNRS, MINATEC, etc.: <20 minutes by bike, 15 minutes by car).
- At the foot of the mountains: hiking, cycling and nature outings directly from the house; medium and large ski resorts nearby (Les 7 laux: 40 min, Chamrousse: 40 min; Alpe d'Huez: 1h20, Les 2 Alpes: 1h20)
- Nearby shops: grocery shop and local shops (bakery, Carrefour express, greengrocer, Italian grocery shop) 5 minutes' walk away; Carrefour hypermarket 7 minutes' drive/10 minutes' cycle ride; bulk grocery shop 8 minutes' drive/11 minutes' cycle ride; organic grocery shop 5 minutes' drive/7 minutes' cycle ride.
The house
- Surface area: over 100 m², very bright and comfortable
- 1 private bedroom + bathroom, completely emptied of our belongings for your use
- Communal areas (freely accessible, furnished and decorated with our belongings): fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer), living room (50-inch UHD TV), dining room, office (Ethernet available), gym, garden with terrace.
- Wifi fibre connection
- Efficient heating (underfloor heating, electric radiators upstairs) included in the charges
- Very quiet and secure setting, pleasant residential area
Special features
- Presence of 2 cats: live in the house and are used to going outside; presence of an automatic food dispenser: you will simply need to ensure that the automatic food dispenser and water fountain are refilled on a weekly basis, know how to alert those around you in the event of a problem, and enjoy being in the company of cats who may require affection.
- Please note that the house is not suitable for people allergic to cats, smokers or people with an additional pet.
- Possibility of additional discussions: car hire, bike hire
- We will be happy to advise you on good addresses and tips for mountain outings in Grenoble and the surrounding area.
Conditions
- Duration: approx. 5/6 weeks (16 November → Christmas 2025)
- Possibility of increasing the duration of your stay in a shared apartment with us from 1 November to 15 November and from 26 December to 31 December.
- Profile sought: 1 person or 1 couple, ≥25 years old, non-smokers, serious profile, ideal for people on a professional assignment, teleworking or internship as part of higher education studies in Grenoble (polygone scientifique, Inovallée, CHU Grenoble, etc.)
- No smoking, no parties in the house
- Civil liability insurance required
- Inventory of fixtures and fittings on arrival and departure
- Price: approx. €2,500 (+ if car/cycle hire options) and photos to be communicated after initial contact
