You’ll be staying 42 km from the Cognac golf course and 45 km from the La Prèze golf course. The nearest airport, Limoges-Bellegarde, is 96 km away. You’ll be about thirty minutes from Bordeaux and an hour from Futuroscope in Poitiers by train.

Welcome to Cosy Bellamy!
To ensure your stay goes as smoothly as possible, please do take the time to read our house rules carefully. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by these rules.
I hope you have as comfortable a stay as possible.
But to ensure this, I’d really appreciate it if you could follow the house rules below. I know, I know, rules are a bit of a bore… But these rules enable us to offer future guests a wonderful experience.

Kitchen:
Feel free to help yourselves to anything you like in the kitchen. We provide some welcome samples of tea and coffee, as well as kitchen utensils if you’d like to cook. My only request is that you wash all crockery and utensils before you leave.

Heating:
Please ensure the radiators are set to 0 before opening any windows.

Lights:
Please switch them off when you leave a room. Abnormal electricity consumption will result in a deduction from the security deposit at the end of your stay. This amount may range from €45 to €50 per day.
Noise:
As our property is surrounded by neighbours, we would appreciate it if you could keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm where possible.
Please do not smoke!

*** General rules ***

- The accommodation and its facilities must only be used by and for the people named at the time of booking.

*** On arrival ***
- Please let us know as soon as possible if you notice any damage or missing items in the house upon your arrival.
- Please adhere to the arrival time (4 pm at the earliest), to allow the housekeeping service to prepare the accommodation. We may occasionally be able to be flexible, but only subject to prior agreement.

*** Common sense, respect and good manners ***

- As a general rule, please avoid making noise between 10.00 pm and 7.00 am that might disturb the neighbours.
- Please notify us immediately in the event of any incident or a complaint from neighbours.
- Use the heating responsibly: keep the windows closed whilst it is on and air the property for at least one hour every day (at this time of year, you can leave the bathroom window open all day)
- Parents remain responsible for their children at all times whilst in the property: for their safety as well as for any disturbance or damage they may cause.
- Remember to switch off the lights and electrical appliances when you leave the house.
- Do not move furniture without our prior consent.
- Use the internet access provided to you responsibly: no illegal downloading, do not visit illegal websites, and comply with French law.
- Towels and any other items provided must not be taken from the property.
- Don’t make life easy for burglars! Lock the door when you leave the property.

*** When you leave ***

- We will come to see you at the time of your departure to carry out the final inspection. We will arrange an appointment with you in advance. We can be flexible regarding the time, but once it has been agreed, we ask that you kindly adhere to it.
- A cleaning service is included, but we ask that you leave the house in a reasonably tidy and clean condition: rubbish bins emptied and put out (on Tuesday evenings from 8.00 pm for yellow bags and on Wednesday evenings from 8.00 pm for black bags), the fridge emptied and cleaned, and the washing-up done and put away. The property must be cleared of your personal belongings.

*** Security Deposit ***

Generally speaking, a deduction may be made from your security deposit if any unusual costs for which you are liable are incurred. In particular:
- Additional caretaker’s fees in the event of failure to comply with the check-out time and/or the property not being ready for the final inspection.
- Unusually dirty conditions resulting in additional cleaning costs.
- Excessive use of household linen resulting in additional laundry costs.
- Damaged, broken, stained or lost items
- Persistent odours (e.g. tobacco)
- Abnormal electricity consumption
