Furnished house with garden
Description
A furnished 4-bedroom house with a garden, ideal for a family or a shared flat for professionals on the move.
Available from 1 November 2026 to mid-April 2027, this fully renovated house of approximately 130 m² is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Gaillac, on the banks of the River Tarn, with no neighbours directly opposite. It offers a comfortable setting for a stay of several months, particularly for professionals on temporary assignments, being transferred or undergoing training, as well as for researchers, PhD students or postdoctoral researchers. A family accompanying a professional on a work assignment can also be accommodated here.
The house comprises four furnished bedrooms: two bedrooms with 160 cm queen-size beds, one bedroom with a 140 cm double bed and one single bedroom. The hotel-standard mattresses are by Hypnia.
It has two modern bathrooms, two toilets (one of which is separate), and a bright 35 m² living room with a smart TV. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, gas hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery.
A workspace with a desk, ample storage space and a utility room equipped with a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board make it easy to settle in for several months.
Outside, residents can enjoy a 30 m² furnished terrace and a private, tree-lined garden of approximately 500 m², which is fully enclosed and not overlooked. The garden is maintained by a gardener.
The house is fitted with fibre-optic broadband, electric shutters, mosquito nets, a heat pump and solar panels. Parking is easy in the communal area in front of the property.
The house is non-smoking. Pets may be considered on request.
The entire property is available to let, with the option of shared tenancy. The proposed tenancy agreement is a ‘mobility lease’, reserved for tenants who meet the legal requirements, including those on temporary professional assignments, transfers, training programmes, work placements, higher education or doctoral programmes.

Around
Situated in the residential neighbourhood of La Bourélie, the house enjoys a particularly peaceful, green and family-friendly setting, whilst remaining close to Gaillac town centre, with its shops, amenities and schools. The area is ideal for families or professionals seeking a peaceful and reassuring setting, away from traffic but without being isolated.
Getting around is easy thanks to Gaillac’s urban bus network, which is completely free. The railway station offers around forty daily services to Toulouse-Matabiau, with up to three TER trains per hour at certain times of the day. The fastest direct trains cover the journey in around 40 minutes, whilst the average journey time is closer to 50 minutes.
Gaillac is situated approximately 20 km from Albi, which can be reached by train, liO coach or via the expressway. The A68 also provides easy access to Toulouse. It is toll-free between Gaillac and Albi and for most of the journey towards Toulouse; only the final section as you approach the Toulouse conurbation is subject to tolls.
Things to see and do
Gaillac is a lively town, renowned for its historic centre, Saint-Michel Abbey, museums, markets and its thousand-year-old vineyards. The town, which holds the ‘Ville d’Art et d’Histoire’ designation, offers exhibitions, shows, entertainment and cultural events all year round. Albi, its episcopal city and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum are also within easy reach.
For sporting activities, Gaillac boasts a municipal indoor swimming pool, stadiums, sports halls, tennis courts, multi-sports centres, dojos, a skatepark, a boules court and a gym. The banks of the River Tarn and the surrounding vineyard landscapes also offer plenty of opportunities for walking, hiking and cycling.
