L'Etape is a super-insulated, solar-powered ecological house. It operates according to the hours of sunshine or the off-peak hours offered by the energy supplier.
Off-peak hours: 1.34am - 7.34am // 12.34pm - 2.34pm
The flatshare charter guarantees harmonious flatsharing. It allows you to live together without conflicts or disputes.
Sartres wrote "One person's freedom ends where another's begins".
And indeed, it's impossible to live together without rules that guarantee good organisation of community life.

Cleaning is compulsory for everyone!
Toilets:
All male and female tenants have free access to them. However, it is imperative to adopt 2 rules of use: men must urinate sitting down, and major cleaning must be followed by disinfection, as explained and demonstrated on joining the shared flat. Everyone uses the toilet paper they buy.

The shower rooms:
After each shower it is passed the squeegee and disinfectant. The windows and mirrors are cleaned once a week.
Bedrooms:
- They must not be used to store dirty laundry or sports shoes. A space is reserved for them in the garage.
- In the morning, the remote-controlled hoover will go into the bedrooms, which must be left freely accessible if you wish it to do so. The floor must be clear of any obstacles to avoid damaging the hoover.
- For reasons of hygiene, rooms should be aired regularly, at least once a day, with the air conditioning switched off.
- You are asked to clean your room at least once a fortnight; dust, mop, clean tiles and change bedding.
If you are unable to carry out these tasks yourself, we offer a cleaning service.
Room and bathroom cleaning package: €50

The communal areas (the laundry room, kitchen, lounge/media library, corridors, staircases, gardens, car parks and garage) are maintained naturally by the people who use them as and when they are needed: together at the weekend, we check what still needs to be done for the well-being of the community.

Meals: These are not served in the rooms.

Dirty laundry: should be stored in the laundry room and not in the bedrooms.

Organisation of community life: Pets are not allowed in the rooms.

Security:
- When you leave the house you must ensure that all exits are closed. Cats must be left outside and dogs in the laundry room, according to the posted closing procedure.
- Gas and electricity are turned off

How to pay the rent: Before the beginning of the month. Rent is paid in advance.
