Rue d'Orchampt is one of the most popular streets in Montmartre. It is a small quiet street with many artists' studios. The place du Bateau Lavoir where Picasso, Modigliani, Camus, Max Jacob and many others lived is right next door.
The apartment has been entirely redone by an architect who played with the old decoration: He selected a part of the old wooden furniture, reused some doors with tinted windows and kept the tapestries on the walls of the living room, as well as the bathroom dressed with white marble. He created a contrast by realizing a modern kitchen with luminous colors that connects the living room, one of the bedrooms and the bathroom.
When entering the apartment, from the first glance you can see a view of Paris through the large window on the left. The light spreads through the tinted glass doors of the bedroom on the right.
The room is equipped with a queen size double bed. Its window overlooks the quiet rue d'Orchampt (semi-pedestrian street). When the glass doors are open, the light comes from both sides of the bed.
After the entrance, you arrive in the large living room. It has 3 large windows and is equipped with a large antique wooden table and a sofa corner with armchairs and chairs. The sofa bed is convertible and comfortable. It can accommodate 2 more people for short stays.
The kitchen is separate and fully equipped, including a dishwasher and a washing machine dryer. It is new, colorful and modern. One passes through the kitchen from the living room to reach the master bedroom and the bathroom.
The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size double bed. It has 2 windows with a view on Paris. It is equipped with an antique and valuable wooden wardrobe, close to the bathroom.
The marbles and the old taps have been preserved in the bathroom giving it an art deco style. It is equipped with a bathtub and has a large window. The toilets are in the bathroom.
