A borough of paradoxes, the 18th arrondissement is home to Montmartre, one of the most beautiful - and touristy - places in the world, but also to long-neglected working-class neighbourhoods such as Goutte d'Or. The flat is a 10-minute walk from the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre.
