Around
The 6th arrondissement is home to Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Jardin du Luxembourg. Although the legendary jazz clubs of the 1950s are now few and far between,
and you’re just as likely to come across intellectuals as tourists on the terrace of the Café de Flore, it has retained a pleasant atmosphere, somewhere between bohemian chic and Parisian luxury
It is one of the most iconic – and most expensive – neighbourhoods in Paris.
Here are a few restaurants we recommend:
- La Boussole
- Le Bon Saint Pourçain
- L’Avant Comptoir du Marché
Transport
The apartment’s location means you can get around the French capital very easily and quickly using the many public transport options available:
- Metro: Odeon (line 4), a 5-minute walk away
- Metro: Mabillon (line 10), a 7-minute walk away
- Numerous day and night bus routes
- Vélib bike-share station
- Several taxi companies available: G7 taxis (the most commonly used) – call 36 07
