Around
Although the 4th arrondissement is home to part of the Île de la Cité, the Île Saint-Louis, the Hôtel de Ville and the Centre Pompidou, it is characterised above all by the Marais, one of the most beautiful,
and oldest, neighbourhoods in Paris. Culture, shopping, strolling and fine dining – a historic arrondissement with no shortage of attractions!
It’s worth noting that the area around the Hôtel de Ville has been a hub for Paris’s gay community since the 1990s.
I recommend the top-rated venues near the flat:
- Pedra Alta Bastille: a Portuguese restaurant serving seafood platters and meat dishes, ideal if you fancy a hearty, delicious meal!
- Restaurant L’Ange 20: home-style French dishes and a selection of local wines in a charming setting with a terrace.
- L’Area: Lebanese cuisine served in a retro bar with mosaic floors and exposed herringbone beams.
- Bofinger: Alsatian specialities such as sauerkraut and seafood platters, in a sumptuous Belle Époque brasserie.

This flat offers excellent access to the entire Paris public transport network. You’ll be just a short walk from metro stations and bus stops, making it easy to get around the City of Lights. You’ll be able to get about very easily and quickly using these numerous public transport options:
