The area is very pleasant, lively and residential (Haussmanian stone buildings all around), good security, and there is everything you could want nearby: shops, cafes and restaurants of all types, transport, monuments...)
The flat is very close to the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero and the Champs Elysées. It is also close to the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Guimet Museum (Asian part of the Louvre).
