Around

This district offers a beautiful 19th century architecture. Its chequered urban plan is composed of large courtyards and wide avenues that give it a certain elegance. For a long time, the neighborhood has attracted the fortunes of Lyon's wealthy citizens who live in large Haussmann-style apartments or in the few mansions overlooking the Tête d'Or park. The inhabitants appreciate this privileged proximity with the "green lung" of the city but also the calm and the presence of renowned schools, notably the famous lycée du Parc.
The Cité International/ the Palais des Congres are very close by.
There is a walk on the Zoé Roche square once a week.
The Auchan supermarket in rue Garibaldi is nearby, as well as the early food store Cerise et Potiron, or Bio c' Bon in the nearby rue Crillon.
A good number of brands have set up shop on Cours Vitton: food shops, decoration, fashion, florist, UGC Astoria cinema... Small supermarkets have also moved to rue Duquesne or rue Garibaldi.
To get out, the district is full of good addresses, from the most starred tables to small traffic jams. Go to the Brotteaux district or around the Roosevelt course to enjoy: Pierre Orsi Restaurant, M restaurant, Brasserie de l'Est, Brasserie des Brotteaux, Takao Takano, le Neuvième Art or even the Gourmet de Sèze ... without forgetting the chocolate makers Bernachon, Tourtiller, Bruno Saladino, the caterers Machado and C gastronomy. The list is not exhaustive, far from it!
And for fresh produce, the Marché Tête d'Or is held in Place Elmaleh on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
