Criteria for "mobility lease" ("bail mobilité")

The mobility lease is intended for the temporary rental of furnished accommodation to people on the move.

To sign a mobility lease, you must fall into one of the following categories:

• People on professional mobility
  

The people who are looking for housing while on a professional training course, an assignment, seasonal work, a professional transfer or while doing their civic service.

• Students

The special nine-month student lease is not always adapted to new student uses (shorter semesters, 6-month internships). Even if the tenant has the possibility of leaving before the end of the lease, he or she is obliged to give formal notice of termination with a notice period of one month. However, the mobility lease is adjusted to the planned duration.

• People on an apprenticeship contract

People on an apprenticeship contract are not necessarily students, as some have the status of fully-fledged employees of the company. The mobility lease is also open to them.
