Renting a property

Once you have found a suitable property, select the dates of arrival and departure. The available dates are shown in green and the dates on which the property is not available are shown in pink. After that, indicate the number of tenants and then click on the “Check availability” button (or “Rent this property” button in case of a property with Instant Booking).

Therefore, you are making an availability request to the owner. Since this does not involve any commitment by either party (tenants or owner) in case of acceptance, it is recommended to make several requests for different properties, after which you can proceed to your rental request with a higher probability that it will be accepted by clicking on the “Rent this property” button located in the page of conversation with the owner.

All you have to do from this point on is to follow the steps up to the payment authorization on the secure MorningCroissant platform.
When your payment authorization has been validated, your rental request is transferred to the owner via email and text messages.
 
If the owner refuses the rental request, your payment authorization will be cancelled and you will not be billed.

If you are renting a property with Instant Booking, by clicking on the “Rent this property” button, all you have to do is to follow the steps up to the payment authorization on the secure MorningCroissant platform.


As soon as your request is confirmed, you will automatically receive an email with the rental contract, an invoice and all the pertinent information about how to get the keys, including the owner’s contact information. You can therefore contact him directly to make the final arrangements for your rental.
 
MorningCroissant then holds the rents in an escrow account, as required by law, and it will only be transferred to the owner 36 business hours after you have arrived at the property. This means that you have one full day to inform MorningCroissant of any problems you may encounter with the property. In this way the payment can be blocked if necessary.
